Gain Practical Experience in the Process of Inferential Intelligence

The Art of Inference is an interactive workshop designed to teach the practical skills of inferential scanning, synthesis and reporting.

Competitive strategy is not simply about tracking the immediate competition in your industry. Increasingly, management must look broadly across the business environment to find threats and opportunities. This requires a new set of skills and a different methodology.

This workshop examines the inferential intelligence process, developed by Williams Inference, to manage change within the business environment.
 Topics covered include:
  • Anomalies and surprises as a filter for the entire business environment.
  • Inferring from a limited data set and recognizing patterns of change.
  • Monitoring, testing and strengthening hypotheses using anomalies.
  • Symbolic power.
  • Using change in business and investments.

Each section includes a practical hands-on work session. Case material is drawn from current Williams Inference files.*
